New Design Coming Soon

Well, I know everyone is anxious for the newly designed sites to go on line. I just wanted to let everyone know that it is fast approaching time for them to go on line with the new design.

I know it has taken a very long time for this to take place, and I appreciate the patience of all my visitors. This was a massive project and when you see the new site on line you will understand why it took so long. Many new features and programs have been added.

I am pushing to have the new site up and running by May 15, 2009. If a further delay happens I will let all my visitors know. This is the first time, since the project began, I have felt confident enough to even post a date.

Visitor's can expect the site to go down for a short time while the newly design sites, folders, and pages go on line. I will be deleting the old and replacing it with the new so it could take a while. Visitors may happen to visit while it is in progress and may only get partial pages. Once the site is fully operational all folders and pages should be working efficiently and properly. Pain staking care will be done to assure this.

Redesign of TLTH Sites Continues

I am sorry to announce that this redesign is taking far longer then I even anticipated. I have battled a few miner setbacks with my health, but I am back working hard to get things done. I am still dedicated to the completion of this project. Believe and trust that when it is completed, my visitors will not be disappointed.

To understand the task at hand let me explain by listing the points below itemizing the changes which are being done, along with the redesign. I wanted to offer my visitors mor detail here so you can fully grasp why this project will take so long to complete.

* The redesign itself is a massive undertaking on a site as large as mine.
I am doing this to all three sites. This means every page must be coded with the new design. I have completely changed the design of the site with brand new graphics made by me.

* A new navigation feature is being added and long pages of the sites will have an expandable page feature added to them to allow for shorter pages.

* Editing and updating information on many pages of the sites.
This is an ongoing process. Fixing links, mistakes gone unnoticed before, and repairing broken code is a continual process. This is painstaking process. I will be going through the pages with a fine tooth comb, so to speak, to make sure everything is right.

* New programs, pages, and services will be added to the sites.

Forum - The forum will be added and linked from all sites. It will allow visitors a place to post information, get updated about site changes, and chat with other visitors and people on the internet. It will offer a wide variety of help, support, and interaction. After the new design is finished, it will be the main area of updated information and ongoing support for all visitors.

New Links Page - Helpful links will be handled differently with the new design. There will be separate page provided by a different service to allow visitors to add their information links as they choose or enter their own site links under a category listed on the page.

Custom Search - This is something I will be working on for a very long time in trying to make things easier for my visitors. Hopefully, searching through the site and the internet for helpful information will be made a bit easier for my visitors. This will be a constant work in progress even after the new design is on line.

Other New Stuff - New pages and pictures will be added to TLTH Christian Connection. New graphics and pages will be added to Becky K's Graphics.

After seeing this list, I am sure the visitor can understand why this is taking so long to complete. I will work dilligently to get this completed as soon as possible so my visitors can begin to enjoy the new design and to take part in the new programs it will offer.

More News on the Site Design and Reconstruction

I wanted to let everyone know that the site redesign is progressing. I am sorry to report that it will take quite a long time to get it finished. My sites are not small ones. Especially TLTH Main Site and Becky K's Graphics will take some time to get finished because of all the pages.

I can promise the wait will be worth it because my visitors will find some new stuff available.

I have made some further decisions on how the new site will operate after the reconstruction is completed.

First.....I will be changing how news and updates will be handled. I have said I will starting a new forum after the reconstruction is completed. Well, it will be as a result of the reconstruction and will be operational within a couple weeks after the reconstruction is completed.

The forum will house the news and updated for all sites. My reasons for doing this is to make things easier for visitors and myself. With the new forum, it will be easier to offer a newsletter to all visitors who sign up to be members of the forum. It will allow a much better layout and will match much easier with new design. Updating the design of the forum will be far easier then this blog. A link to this blog will be added to a forum post to announce where update and news archives can be seen. This blog will exist for only the purpose of housing those news and updates posted until the forum is operational.

The forum will accessible through all my sites. It will also have categories of smaller forums which will pertain to each of my three sites. It will be easier to add more service to my visitors through the forum.

Second...There will be new pages added to Becky K's Graphics and TLTH Christian Connection.
New graphics will be added to the graphics site and more content and pictures will be added to the christian site.

I am sure my visitors will love the new design and layout once it is finished.

The time frame of when the sites will be up and running with the new design will depend on how long it takes to make the changes to all the pages of all three sites.

I have decided that they will not go on line, with the new design, until all are finished. Since all my sites run off one domain, I figured this would be the best.

I will work as fast as I am able. Once you, my visitors, sees the new design and how it functions, you will understand why it took so long to finish.

The Sites are being Redsigned and reconstructed.

I hope 2009 has started very well for you, visitors and supports of TLTH.

I know I have not been working very diligently on my sites lately. I do apologize for this, but my health issues were quite intense for a while, and I was unable to function enough to take care of them properly.

This is all about to change, big time. I am back and feeling like it is time for a renewal. It is time to make the sites even better then ever and this is my goal in 2009.

First, the sites are going to get completely redesigned and reconstructed. This is to allow for easier navigation, easier loading of pages, more flexibility, and shorter pages without taking away any of the content.

This will be done with collapsing and expandable navigation bars, collapsing and expandable content, and more organization. Of course, the looks of the site will also improve. I am sure all my visitors and supporters can't wait to see how it will turn out. Guestbooks, TLTH Seal Listing, and this blog will also be redesigned to match the main site as much as I can. I may go for a neutral design here so it will fit all of them. Not really sure what I will do here.

Second, I am bringing back a forum, but it will have to meet my strict standards. This means I want a forum which I can customize without having to pay anything for the privilege. My finances won't permit any more expenses with the sites. I want to make sure it can be made to match the design of TLTH Main Site as much as possible.

Third, the newsletter will return, but not until after the items above are completed. My goal is to have it ready to go by the beginning of next year.

The time frame for these projects is uncertain. I will work as hard as I am able and will do my best to get the sites up in operations with the new design as soon as I can. TLTH will be the first and its redesigning has already begun. As soon as it is finished it will go on line with the new design, and I will announce it when it does. I will then move on the Becky K's Graphics.

I know there are probably some broken links around the sites, but I am waiting until I finish the designing when I can do it all at once. By then the link count will be more accurate as more may be broken by then.
